Which Size Fits a Miramar Job

Miramar is really two cities and the size follows which one you are in. Where It Goes in Miramar, and Permits

The driveway is the default and needs no permit. Boards go under the rails, and in the western communities we call ahead for gate access the way any contractor does. Most associations out there care more about how long a container is visible than about whether it is there at all, so tell us the limit when you book and we schedule the drop and the pickup inside it.

If the container has to sit in the street or the public swale, the City of Miramar may require a right-of-way permit. Give us the address when you book and we tell you what applies before delivery. On the east side, where the streets are narrower and parking is tighter, mention it and we will send the driver at an hour when the truck has room to work.

One practical note either side of the turnpike: the truck needs roughly sixty feet of straight approach to set a container down and about twenty three feet of clear height above the rails. Low branches over a driveway are the usual surprise, and a car parked across the apron is the other. Tell us if either applies and we will plan the placement before the truck leaves rather than have the driver turn around at your curb.

   Most Miramar deliveries go out next day, and a morning call often gets one there the same afternoon. The driver puts boards under the rails, sets the box where you asked, and leaves room for your cars.

   Pickup or swap when it is full

   One call and it is gone. Standard rental is seven days with free early pickup if you finish sooner. Long jobs get a swap instead: the full box leaves and an empty one lands the same day, so a crew never stands still.
